Midwestern Amputee Golf Association The Midwestern Amputee Golf Association

MWAGA is headquartered in Northbrook, IL and includes Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota in its region. Our association is under the larger umbrella of the National Amputee Golf Association (NAGA: www.nagagolf.org) headquartered in Smyrna, TN. We do more than play golf…………..we donated to the firemen in NYC after 9/11, we have donated to an orphanage in Haiti; we give yearly academic scholarships to amputees and family members of amputees, we conduct “First Swing” golf clinics for disabled golfers, and one of our members has traveled to Boston to mentor some of the Boston Marathon amputees.

Congratulations to MWAGA board member, Sarah Larson on winning the Women’s overall division at the Inaugural Minnesota Adaptive Open this weekend at Braemar Golf course in Edina Mn.

Max Togisala won the inagural Minnesota Adaptive Open, with top adaptive golfers from across the nation showcasing their skills and determination.

That’s a wrap on the 2025 MWAGA Adaptive Open!! Congratulations to our new overall champion, Michael Came, with a 2-day total of 152, our senior division champion, Phil Kmak, with a 2-day total of 163, our women’s division champion, Kim Moore, with a 2-day total of 162, and our 9-hole division champion, Sheron Bib, with a 2-day total of 113!
Thanks to all 50+ players who came out this weekend, we hope you all can join us on September 11th-13th next year for the 2026 MWAGA Adaptive Open at Redtail Golf Club!!
