We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made our annual 44 Door Knock event another incredible success! Our neighborhood was filled with a sea of adorable ghost and princesses, it was so much fun seeing all the kids and our residents enjoying themselves.

A special shoutout to all the little ones for being so respectful and spreading joy. We truly appreciate your participation and enthusiasm!

We can't wait to see you all again next year for more fun and festivities. Until then, keep the spirit alive!

Dear Family, Friends and Supporters,

Mayo is participating in the “Jack-o-Lanterns Delight” fundraiser at Kennedy’s in downtown Northfield. This is a fun Halloween-themed campaign to help light up our community and raise money for local nonprofits. Each organization donated their own pumpkin and we are hoping that you will vote for ours.

Voting takes place in the form of a monetary donation between October 30th and November 1st.

Cash Donations: Can be made at Kennedy’s Flowers, Gifts & Antiques (on the Common!)

Credit Card Donations: Can be made at Kennedy’s or by calling 802-485-4531.

Venmo Donations: Can be made in store or online just be sure to put our organization name in the “what’s it for” section #6!

At the end of the fundraiser, we will get all the money that is raised. Plus, Kennedy’s will match all funds up to $500 for the winner! So, please be sure to show your support for us while also having a little Halloween fun!

Thank you to all our wonderful family and friends for joining us today at our second annual pumpkin carving party! Your creativity and laughter filled the day with joy, and we loved seeing all the amazing designs you came up with.

We’re grateful to have such a fantastic group to celebrate with. Can’t wait for next year’s fun!

Wearing Pink for a Purpose!

Today, we celebrated a fantastic Pink Party at Mayo Healthcare to raise awareness for breast cancer! It was inspiring to see everyone come together, dressed in their pink outfits, showing support for such an important cause.

From fun activities to meaningful conversations, we highlighted the significance of early detection and support for those affected by breast cancer. Let’s keep spreading awareness and advocating for a future without breast cancer.

This month, we’re thrilled to celebrate Nikki Moorby and her incredible 30-year anniversary with the Mayo Healthcare family!

When asked about her time here, Nikki shared that her favorite thing about Mayo is “that we are small and very much like a home, where everybody knows everybody.”

Outside of work, Nikki’s greatest joy comes from her family. Her son proudly serves in the National Guard, and she loves supporting him in all his duties. Her youngest is still in high school, and she enjoys every moment of watching him grow. At home, she’s also kept busy with her dog and cat, and, of course, her dedication to her work family here at Mayo.

Thank you, Nikki, for three decades of compassion, hard work, and heart. Your commitment to our residents and team truly makes Mayo the special, family-like place it is today.
