Advocacy plays an important role in expanding access to mental health care.

On April 15, Josselyn clinicians joined Behavioral Health Advocacy Day in Springfield, meeting with lawmakers, including Sen. Mary Edly-Allen, Sen. Darby Hills, Sen. Adriane Johnson, Sen. Julie Morrison, Rep. Norine Hammond, Rep. Tracy Katz Muhl, and Rep. Martin McLaughlin, among others, to share their experiences on the front lines of care. These conversations focused on the growing need for services, workforce challenges, and the importance of investing in accessible, community-based mental health support.

We are proud to stand alongside organizations across Illinois working to strengthen mental health care for our communities.
