Josselyn’s Social Emotional Learning (SEL) consultants support students in ways that extend beyond classroom lessons. In addition to building essential social and emotional skills, they help create experiences that strengthen connection and foster a sense of belonging throughout the school community.
This month, Josselyn SEL Consultant Emi Marie helped organize a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus for nearly 500 students at Lyon Magnet Elementary. Each child received gifts through Toys for Tots, wrote a letter to Santa, and had the opportunity to share with Santa how school was going and what mattered most to them.
Now in its second year, this event remains one of the most joy-filled days of the school year. Josselyn is grateful to the dedicated staff and community partners whose collaboration makes moments like these possible.
