•Falls don’t have to be part of aging. With the right exercises and home safety steps, you can stay steady and independent.
•Lower body strength = stability.
•Walking, water aerobics, stair climbing—simple activities can reduce fall risk.
•Balance is a skill, and it needs practice. Try single-leg stands, heel-to-toe walking, or chair rises to stay steady.
•Medications and vision play a big role in balance. Dizziness, drowsiness, or poor eyesight can all increase fall risk.

If you’ve been here lately you’ve had the pleasure of meeting Lindsey. Today was the last day of her clinical, so she’s back to the school grind next week.
Students always make things fun and our therapists love being able to pour into them. When you love what you do it doesn’t feel like work!
