Well the day didn’t start as planned! 🤦‍♀️ . . . Not sure if I have told you just how much I hate cars!! 😂😂😂 I’m going to rename this car “sicknote” !

Had the best day yesterday at the North Tyne Hunter Trial 😊 watching horses and ponies go round what looks like an extremely fun course 🐎
Well done to all the organisers 👏🏼 such a friendly lot!! And a big fat burger 🍔 to give me energy to get up that monster of a hill! 😂 but great views from the top!
Well done to you all for getting round

Food for thought 🤔
I am seeing a lot of horses at the moment that are holding tension through their withers/trapezius.

* have they put on some summer pounds? 🐷
* have you increased their workload, ie schooling, jumping, lessons, clinics causing the building of muscle in this area? 🐎
* have you had the saddle checked recently to accommodate these changes to their bodies? 👍

So when you bring your ponies in tonight, just spend a couple of minutes with finger pressure rubbing the area above and behind the shoulder area (where your saddle sits) and see how they react. Do they like it? Tense under your hand? Hollow? Lift head up? Swish tail? Scowl at you? Stamp a foot? Move away from you?
Let’s all do a little check for comfort in this area 😊

And most importantly get out there enjoying each other . . . Go book that clinic . . . That pleasure ride . . . . . That lesson whatever puts a smile on your face 🐴

Well what a week . . 🐎. . . Just showing off my usual Ascot outfit 😂
Had an amazing time (now time to let my liver recover!)

As a physio. . . . You know how a good bum makes me happy 😆
Sometimes you come across a horse where all the muscles are building beautifully, nice evenly distributed, well defined and the icing on the cake is that the workload suits the horse and he has no major tensions . . . It’s a real diamond of a day!!! And an absolute honour to feel ❤️ it really makes me smile inside, especially when you have been along on the journey with them and watched them grow before your eyes 👀 I couldn’t be more proud of what can be achieved with hard work, dedication and the love between horse and human 🐎 especially fitting on world horse day 🌍
These days make me so very warm inside ❤️

Had a busy few days at a big yard, seeing some legends of horses 🐎 it is really lovely treating horses on a regular basis as you get to know the horses and their niggles and start to see patterns forming 😊
I am so happy and proud at how much effort and time people put into their ongoing training and building, well done you lovely lot . . . Keep up the good work 👏🏼
My star award definitely without a doubt has to go to ‘stan’ ⭐️ just lovely 🥰

Feeling so happy right now, oh and sorry if I havnt returned any messages/calls I will aim to work my way through the list . . . . 🤪
