Quantum Psychotherapy Group

Quantum Psychotherapy Group In-person and virtual psychotherapy for teens and adults, located in Northvale (Bergen County) NJ. We are not your typical therapists.

If you’ve tried therapy before but didn’t get the results you wanted, then welcome. Our unique approach blends holistic Eastern practices with evidence-based, Western science to foster powerful change in our clients. You are already whole; we are simply guiding you to become aware of that through the healing of past experiences and societal conditioning. Sometimes it is not so much a learning that

is required, but an unlearning. Our highly experienced team will empower you with the tools needed to move through life with a greater sense of confidence and ease. Using a holistic and multidisciplinary approach, our mission is to guide the healing and growth of our clients, which begins to positively impact all those around them. This is how change on a grand scale happens as, according to Quantum Theory, we are all connected. Each of us has the power to affect the whole. If you are reading this, you have already taken the important first step in the journey of transforming into your highest potential.

In a world that asks women to constantly give, perform, and push… this is your invitation to return.

To soften.
To receive.
To come back to the quiet intelligence of your body.

Soft Feminine in the Heat of Summer is a deeply restorative, experiential weekend devoted to nervous system regulation and reconnecting with your inner wisdom and natural rhythms.

This wisdom lives in our bones. Through breath, movement, somatic practices, and authentic connection, we gently unwind patterns of over-efforting and remember what it feels like to live from fullness instead of depletion.

This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about allowing more.

As we slow down, we access a deeper layer of self. One that feels, trusts, and moves with life instead of against it. From here, connection becomes more real, intimacy more natural, and presence more alive.

Held in a safe, intentional space and surrounded by the lush beauty of Amethyst Retreat Center, your body is supported in remembering how to rest, restore, and receive.

This space is for women ready to:
• soften chronic tension
• shift out of survival mode into embodied being
• deepen connection to self and others
• reclaim rest, pleasure, and receptivity as power

Come as you are.
Soften into yourself.

Ever heard of EMDR but weren’t quite sure what it actually means? 👇
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a whole-body approach to healing — working with your mind, body, and nervous system to gently process what’s been stored.
Swipe through to learn what EMDR is, why trauma can feel “stuck,” and what a session at Quantum actually looks like.

📚 Clinician Bookshelf ✨
We asked our clinicians to share a book they genuinely recommend, each one reflects a different lens of healing (trauma, self-compassion, somatics, teens/young adults, spirituality, and stress relief).

If you’ve been wanting a supportive read between sessions, let this be your starting point. 🌿
Save this list for later, and comment which title you’re picking up first (or which topic you want more recommendations for). 💚

✨ Need an energy reset? Do one of these—or stack a few. Here’s why each helps, based on what we know about the body + brain. 🌿

• Smudge or Smoke-free “cleanse” (spray/diffuser) + intention
Pleasant scents (e.g., lavender/bergamot) can reduce sympathetic arousal and perceived anxiety short-term; pairing scent with a stated intention helps your brain encode a calming cue.

• Sound (singing bowl, soft chime, or humming)
Steady tones and humming extend the exhale and stimulate the vagus nerve, which can increase heart-rate variability (HRV) and shift the nervous system toward calm.

• Candle + intention (single focal point) 🕯️
Gazing at one point functions like brief meditation—reducing mind-wandering and stress reactivity while improving focus.

• Wash (shower or bath)
Warm water boosts peripheral circulation and muscle relaxation (parasympathetic “rest/digest”). A quick cool splash/ice on face or wrists can trigger the dive reflex—slowing heart rate and easing acute stress.

• Sip (hot or ice water/tea) 💧
Even mild dehydration can impact mood and attention; rehydrating helps. Warm drinks increase thermal comfort and relaxation; cold water offers a gentle alerting effect.

Try one when you’re short on time—or layer a few for a deeper reset.
Sample intention: “I release what’s heavy. I invite calm, clarity, and protection.”

🌿 Quantum Psychotherapy Group offers holistic, trauma-informed care for mind • body • soul. If you’d like personalized tools, we’re here to help.
Safety: ventilate with scents; avoid very hot water; pause if dizzy; modify for your needs.
Tell us your go-to reset in the comments. ⬇️
