Lutheran Retirement Home (LRH) in Northwood, Iowa has provided area families with exceptional nursing care since 1962. To address community needs, services and facilities both have grown significantly during the last 63 years. LRH now provides a continuum of high-quality services – skilled nursing care, assisted living, independent living, memory care, and physical / occupational therapy – all provided in a caring, compassionate, and homelike atmosphere. Our Northwood nursing home has some real needs right now, and we’re asking for support for anyone who feels led to give. LRH has not been spared the dual challenges of aging facilities and limited financial reimbursement. Since these repairs and upgrades are high- cost items, our fundraising goal is set at a 1,000,000. Anything you can give will help.
We’re raising funds to help with:
• Roof repairs
• Fixing our Ac unit
• New windows
• New electric beds for residents
• New carpet
• Payroll support for our caring staff
• New Generator
These updates would make a big difference in the comfort and safety of the residents we love so much.
