Another fantastic trip with many fantastic eats! We made our way to New York to visit and congratulate a couple friends.

As a gluten free gal, NYC was the place to be! There were so many options and a number of places that were 100% gluten free. Not everything I ate is pictured, especially not the gluten free donut. That disappeared quick.

I just wanted this to serve as a reminder to treat yourself when you travel. Eat what you enjoy. Just be sure to throw some fruits, veggies, and movement in there too❣️

Our bodies are machines that turn 7.5 hour car rides into 13 hour car rides. So, these snacks came in handy. Traffic was slow from Michigan to upstate New York, so our trip was much longer than anticipated. We did not want to make any more unnecessary stops, so having some nourishing snacks was a lifesaver. Now we have another 5 hours to NYC today. Wish us luck!

My anti-inflammatory wellness guide is for those of us who want to bring down some of our chronic inflammation through food and lifestyle choices.

It goes over what inflammation is, what foods and habits affect it (positively or negatively) and how, as well as some recipes made of anti-inflammatory ingredients. 🥬🫐🍎

This is a great option for people who want to make improvements, but don’t necessarily have the time (or desire) for a consultation.

Winter in Michigan is LONGGG, and soup is one of my favorite things to eat to remind me that warmth exists. If I’m in a hurry, I’ll grab a box of bone broth from the store, but I love making it at home. I think it tastes better, and I know all of the ingredients will be simple whole foods. An added bonus is the cost. The chicken cost me $6.99, and I got chicken for the week plus bone broth. For how easy the process is, I definitely think it’s worth it. As we are beginning this new calendar year, it’s worth asking: What does your wellness journey look like for you in 2026?

Is it eating more whole, intentional foods?
Is it moving your body in a way that feels more sustainable and supportive?
Is it deep diving into your favorite topic? Or learning something new?

What is your main goal for this year? Share in the comments below. Remember - you don’t need extremes. Even the smallest goal is one worth striving for. Start where you are. Build thoughtfully.

I am all for setting goals for yourself ANY time of year. The new year is a great time to look at ourselves, our progress, and our goals.

That being said, it’s easy to fall for the quick solutions that many brands try to sell you. “Try this diet and you’ll lose 10 pounds in 1 week!” or “This miracle exercise program will have you toned and beach ready by the end of the month!” As lovely as that sounds, and as easy as that sells, it is simply not the reality.

Sustainable results come from SUSTAINED WORK and consistency. I personally believe that wellbeing is the best motivator. Care for yourself because your body deserves the best from you, not because it will make you look better in a bikini. This year, let’s take care of our bodies, and let the results speak for themselves.
