National Eat Your Vegetables Day on June 17 falls in the middle of National Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Month! 🥦🥕🥒🥗
Today's celebration is one more opportunity to remind everyone to continue with this part of a healthy diet.

Certain vegetables are beneficial for eye health due to their nutrient content, particularly lutein, zeaxanthin, and vitamin A. Dark leafy greens like kale and spinach are rich in these nutrients and may help reduce the risk of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and cataracts. 🤓
