☀️ 𝕀𝕥’𝕤 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕥𝕚𝕞𝕖 𝕠𝕗 𝕪𝕖𝕒𝕣! ☀️
💊 I’ve been seeing more and more high dose Vitamin D scripts in the pharmacy and more and more patients complaining of low energy and mood.
☀️ The sun is one of the best sources of Vitamin D, but when the UV index is less than 2 (like it is now) we are unable to absorb adequate amounts of those sun rays to convert to vitamin D. We’re still in those cold months where we get very little sun exposure and our bodies and minds begin to show the lack of sun rays / vitamin D.
I always recommend Nutridyn D3/K2 or Energetix Vitamin D3 with K2 & coconut oil!
☀️ Why K2? It helps regulate calcium = improves skeletal integrity by driving Vitamin D into the bones
☀️ Why Coconut Oil? Vitamin D & K are fat-favoring, they need fat to absorb = improved absorption and use of Vitamin D (if you’re using Nutridyn capsules, be sure to take with a healthy fat!
