An unsuccessful IVF cycle. A year and a half of waiting. And a care team that never made them feel alone. ❤️

On this final day of National Infertility Awareness Week 2026, we're honored to share Azavier & Lauren's story and the journey that brought their daughter Akoa into the world.

As an LGBTQ+ couple, finding the right clinic meant more than good medical care. It meant finding a team that truly embraced their family. "At Illume, we were never treated any differently. Instead, we felt genuinely supported every step of the way."

Thankfully, their second IVF cycle was a success. On February 5, 2026, their baby girl arrived — and everything changed.

"Illume gave us more than just medical care. They gave us hope, support, and a place where we felt at home during one of the most important journeys of our lives."

For every LGBTQ+ family still searching for a team that truly sees them, don't forget: you deserve inclusive care that celebrates your journey.

They'd been through fertility treatment before. They knew what to expect. What they didn't know was how different it could feel with the right team.

For National Infertility Awareness Week, we're honored to share the story of Challie and Lina, two moms who came to Illume hoping to grow their family of three to four.

One egg retrieval. One viable embryo. One chance at their dream. And a decision they'd already made: if this didn't work, they would embrace life as a family of three.

They stepped into transfer day carrying both hope and acceptance. Luckily, their transfer was a success! Baby boy #2 is due in August 2026 and big brother Damian has no idea what's coming. 🩵

For LGBTQ+ families, finding a clinic that truly sees you isn't just about credentials. It's about feeling like a person, not a patient. Challie and Lina felt that difference from day one and we're honored to have walked this road with them. 🌈🤍

✨ She made a decision for her future self. Years later, that decision changed everything.

As we begin to wrap up National Infertility Awareness Week, we're sharing Maya's story as a reminder that sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is bet on yourself.

In 2023, Maya was 38 and navigating a major life transition. She chose to freeze her eggs — not out of fear, but from a place of clarity. She knew she wanted children someday. She just didn't know when, or with whom.

Fast forward two years: Maya met her partner, they tried to conceive, and when they weren't successful on their own, they were able to utilize her previously frozen eggs through IVF.

One embryo. One transfer. One positive pregnancy test. 💙

They are now expecting their first baby at the end of May. And it all started with an incredibly brave decision made years before this chapter even began.

Head to the link below to read Maya's full story. 🤍

At age 38, Maya froze her eggs while single and uncertain about the future. At age 40, she used those frozen eggs for IVF and is now expecting a baby.

Today, we're honored to share Darren & Marty's story - a journey filled with extraordinary love and generosity that brought their son into the world.

When they set out to build their family, they had one wish: that their future child would carry a piece of both of them. What happened next was beyond anything they could have planned.

Marty's sister volunteered to donate her eggs. A close family friend stepped up to be their surrogate. And on October 10th, their son Colton arrived, the exact same day Marty's sister was born. "It was truly divine timing," he says.

Every family looks different. Every path to parenthood is unique. And every single person navigating a family-building journey deserves access to compassionate, inclusive care.

Because we are the barriers we face. 🌈 🤍

✨ She trusted her gut before she even knew she wanted to be a mom. That instinct is the reason she's holding her son today.

At only 32, before she'd ever tried to conceive, Lisa had a feeling something was wrong. That gut feeling led her to Illume, where she was diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Insufficiency. What followed were four years of unsuccessful IVF cycles, three devastating losses, and one of the hardest decisions a person can make: letting go of the future she'd imagined and opening her heart to the possibility of donor egg IVF.

"The path we took led us to our little boy, and we could never imagine a world without him now that he's here." 💙

Sometimes, the journey to parenthood looks nothing like you planned, but somehow still leads you exactly where you were meant to be.

🔬 It’s Lab Week, and we’re taking a moment to celebrate the incredible humans behind the science! 👩‍🔬

Andrologists, embryologists, lab technicians, the administrative and support staff who keep it all running...we couldn’t do any of this without them.

After a year of trying, a devastating loss, and a shocking diagnosis that came out of nowhere, Kaitlyn and Travis found themselves suddenly facing IVF with one major catch: only one egg was retrieved in her first cycle.

One tiny egg. One chance at everything they had been dreaming of.

What happened next was something even their doctors didn't see coming. 🤍

This , we're sharing the journeys that remind us why hope is worth holding onto, even when the odds feel impossible.

🧡 It’s not just the protocols, appointments, or two-week waits.

It’s navigating years of uncertainty. It’s grieving multiple losses while still finding the strength to try again. It’s learning to hold both hope and fear at the same time.

After almost four years of trying to grow their family, Samantha and Anthony had faced multiple miscarriages, a PCOS diagnosis, and failed IUI cycles at another fertility clinic. When their OB/GYN suggested seeking a second opinion, they made the difficult decision to switch clinics and found their way to Illume Fertility.

That choice became a major turning point. With a care plan tailored to their history, they moved forward with IVF, navigating unexpected hurdles, including surgery to prepare for transfer.

“When transfer day came, we were nervous…but we remained hopeful.”

As part of National Infertility Awareness Week, we’re honored to share their journey—including the realities of pregnancy after loss and the moment they finally heard their baby’s heartbeat.
