The recent vote in the Senate does not affect premiums for 2026 ACA, Obamacare plans. The tax subsidy they had a vote on was to extend the enhanced tax subsidies that were implemented during the COVID pandemic in an effort to get more people enrolled in health insurance. The plans for 2026 were quoted and issued at pre-COVID tax subsidies. In short, nothing has changed for 2026 plans.

Medicare Part C Advantage plans have different networks, premiums, and cost-sharing. Working with an insurance agent that specializes in these plans is a great way to ensure that you consider all the variables before choosing your insurance company.

Staying Fit After 60: Once you are comfortable performing an exercise, choose a weight that allows you to do only 8 to 12 repetitions. The last one or two reps should be difficult. If you can’t lift the weight at least eight times, use a lighter weight. You can adjust the amount of weight you are lifting for sets based on how you feel.
