Our Fatherhood Initiative held an adorable event yesterday- dads gathered with their kids to learn how to do their hair! They got to bond with their children, become more confident in hair care, build community, and learn from each other.

Yesterday's Minks to Sinks annual meeting was a wonderful time to gather with the incredible volunteers who make this epic sale happen. They honored longstanding volunteers, welcomed new members, introduced new co-chair Amy Foodman, and presented a check to FCA. Last year the volunteers were able to raise$120,000 for FCA's programs! We're thrilled to share some incredible news: thanks to you and our amazing community, we secured our full $100K matching gift!

The additional support we received through the matching gift will ensure more of our vulnerable neighbors have the support and resources they need to make it through these difficult times. As we enter 2026, Family & Children’s Agency (FCA) is now better positioned to support children, families, adults, and seniors throughout Fairfield County and beyond with the compassionate, life-changing programs and services they rely on.

That's vitally important, since so many of our neighbors are still in need right now, and more people turn to FCA every single day for help. Thank you to all who gave generously.

We are excited to have been selected to join the AI for Nonprofits Sprint: Connecticut Cohort.

Alongside 100 nonprofits across our state, our staff will participate in a structured learning program to build foundational AI skills, understand responsible use, and explore how AI can help us work more efficiently and expand our impact.

We’re excited to bring these tools and trainings to our team and ultimately to the communities we serve. Stay tuned for updates as we begin this journey!
