As we prepare for another fantastic BINGO event hosted by Mike G. this Saturday, we reflect on the enduring friendship of over 38 years between Dr. Gary and Stuart Lane of MFAP.

These two have weathered the storms together and have stayed by each other’s side.

Their friendship has not only enriched their own lives but has also inspired those around them.

Today is National Youth HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.

HIV doesn’t only impact Black youth. But we are among those MOST impacted.

Young people ages 13–24 make up about 21–23% of new HIV diagnoses in —and 75%+ of those youth cases are Black.

Access to education.
Access to culturally competent care.
Access to stigma-free conversations.

We’re creating real spaces for dialogue, increasing access to testing and PrEP, and making sure our youth have the knowledge and support they deserve.

Because when our youth have access, support, and information—they have power.
