In April, we recognize and honor the volunteers at Croí Health who offer their time to support our hospice patients and families. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication towards making a difference in the community.

“My passion for this organization grew fast," shares Jill Tallman, member of the Croí Health Charitable Fund Board of Trustees. "This team is so loyal and dedicated. I just want to help, and I think that's why I've been a donor, a trustee, and a volunteer."

We are deeply honored to have dedicated a patient room at the Pat Roche Hospice Home in loving memory of Joe Vita, MD: a respected cardiologist, father, husband, and friend. After his passing in 2014, his wife Gina Vita became a passionate advocate for hospice care, co-founding our annual Bella Vita event, previously serving as a member of our Charitable Fund Board of Trustees, and currently serving as a member of our Voices campaign committee.

CEO Renee McInnes welcomed the Vita family and friends. Celebrating the generosity of the Bella Vita community, Renee commented, “No patient is ever turned away for financial reasons, and Gina's remarkable generosity and vision helps to fund that priority."

With gratitude to Joe’s family and friends for their continued support of our non-profit mission.
