Our Pediatrics Department in Norwell has a new look, thanks to the Dunkin' Joy In Childhood Foundation!

This “Welcome to Pediatrics” mural was installed in our waiting room last week, creating a more welcoming environment for our young patients and their families.

The mural features a woodland theme with animals, trees, and multiple interactive mazes and puzzles mounted on the wall.

Our new waiting room also features kid-sized tables and chairs that match the woodland theme.

We’re grateful to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation for their generosity and for bringing joy into this space!

Need a prescription refill? You can request one two different ways: through South Shore Health MyChart and by phone.

We recommend using MyChart for prescription refills whenever possible, as it’s the fastest and most efficient method.

• MyChart: Log in to your MyChart account, click “Send a message,” and choose “Refill a medication.” Once your provider signs your refill, you will receive a message notifying you that the prescription has been ordered and the location of the pharmacy where you can pick it up.

• Phone: Call 781-878-5200 and select Option #4 for prescription refills. You will be prompted to leave a voicemail with specific information. Leave a voicemail with the requested information and the team will begin processing your refill.

Prescription refill requests will be processed within 24-48 business hours.

We ask that patients please refrain from calling the triage line for prescription refills – you will be referred back to the refill line discussed above.

Did you know that our FAST Pass waitlist service is available for mammography?

Patients with mammography appointments at our Norwell practice or at the Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center at South Shore Health can now opt in to FAST Pass and claim an earlier appointment in the event of a cancellation.

After scheduling an appointment in MyChart, opt in to FAST Pass by clicking “Get on the Wait List.” Patients scheduling by phone can ask to be added to the waitlist as well.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐅𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬?

We make every attempt to get patients in to see their provider as soon as possible — but sometimes there’s a bit of a wait, especially during times of high patient volume.

FAST Pass is a waitlist that allows patients to claim an earlier appointment if one becomes available.

Patients who use FAST Pass will receive a South Shore MyChart notification or email if a new appointment is available.

You can then choose to claim the new appointment date/time or keep your existing appointment.
