We want to send a big THANK YOU to our patients who helped contribute generous donations of food and $111.00 to the Rosalyn Allen Food Pantry.
Here is a thank you from The Edward & Mary Lord Family Health Center at UCFS located right here in Norwich, CT:

" Dear Staff of Southeast Connecticut Eye Care,
On behalf of everyone at UCFS Healthcare, I would like to extend our sincere gratitude to you for the generous donation of food and $111.00 to the Rosalyn Allen Food Pantry. Your support plays a crucial role in helping us serve the members of our community.
Since its opening on January 3, 2017, the food pantry has provided vital nourishment to over 81,000 individuals. This resource is available to all of our clients and anyone in need within our community, and your contribution makes it possible for us to continue this important work.
We are proud to be able to offer such a significant service, but we know that we could not do it without the support of compassionate community members like you. Your donation directly helps us fulfill our mission to eliminate health disparities and improve the health and well-being of the community.
On behalf of the clients and families who benefit from the food pantry, thank you again for your generosity and commitment to making a difference. We deeply appreciate your partnership in your shared mission. Have a happy and healthy holiday Season.
Sincerely,
Pamela Allen Kinder, MS, MA
Vice President, Business Development"

👁Common dry eye symptoms can range from irritating to painful and often worsen throughout the day or in certain environments:

A burning, stinging, or scratchy sensation in the eyes.

A gritty feeling (like something is constantly in your eye).

Redness and irritation.

Sensitivity to light (photophobia).

Watery eyes (ironically, this is a reflex response to the initial irritation).

Blurred or fluctuating vision that may temporarily improve with blinking.

Difficulty wearing contact lenses.
