What are participants saying about Mental Health First Aid Trainings? โ†™ โ†™

Teen Mental Health First Aid is one of the most impactful programs available to students! TMHFA not only provides real world scenarios for students to connect with, but also gives them the tools to actively engage with peers who are struggling with mental health concerns. I consider this program to be one of the best resources out there for teens and am thrilled that our school district is committed to working with Madison County Rural Health Council to empower our students to have supportive, honest conversations about mental health. -Renee Merkt, Social Emotional Learning Teacher

"As an educator, I donโ€™t know if thereโ€™s currently anything more important than youth mental health awareness and how to best support it. Prior to this course, I was unsure where to begin. After taking this course I feel I have a better understanding and am better prepared to best support students and children in my life. I look forward to future offerings, I would definitely enroll in another course." ~Anonymous

"This was one of the most helpful trainings I think anyone could take, especially for those working with youth...You always think you know what do in a crisis, but I truly feel more capable of responding in a way that is going to save a life after attending the training. I'm so glad this is available to our community and I would encourage all who can to get certified as a Mental Health First Aider." -Morgan Collins

Did you know May is Mental Health Awareness Month?

With mental health entering more and more of our daily conversations, itโ€™s critical that everyone has a solid foundation of knowledge about mental health.

As someone who knows the impact this organization has on our community, I ask you if you haven't had a chance, please consider a donation. As Megan and Jennifer said so beautifully, one small donation has more of an impact than you will ever realize.

Having served on numerous committees and boards with Elizabeth and Victoria, there are not another pair like them. They care so deeply about our community and stretch themselves so thin to give back to ALL of us. Let's show them some of our support by helping them reach their goal for OUR community.

CHENANGO COUNTY โ€“As 2021 comes to a close, the Chenango United Way is in the final days of raising funding for its annual campaign for 2022 program funding. With only 11 days left in the campaign, we are currently at 95 percent of our projected
