It was awesome hearing from so many of you and learning what you’re aiming to achieve this year—whether it’s leveling up, competing more, staying consistent, or just having more fun on the court.
Here’s to sticking with those goals and turning them into results. Wishing everyone a strong, healthy, and rewarding 2026 pickleball season. Let’s get after it.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to nominate and vote for their fellow members of the Pickleball Club community. Being recognized by your peers is truly an honor, and it speaks volumes about the culture we’ve built here together.

Congratulations to all of our award winners who helped make the 2025 season such a memorable year at NFC. A big congratulations to for earning Most Improved Player, and to Maggie Halen, who was named Golden Nugget of the Year. Congratulations as well to and , who tied for Women’s Player of the Year.

A huge congratulations to , our NFC Player of the Year, and a special nod to Mike Parusa, who earned Competitor of the Year by winning both the Court Climb and the River Rally Challenge in spring, summer & fall!

Most importantly, thank you to everyone in this community. It’s your energy, sportsmanship, and support that truly make this place special.

Before I announce the Player of the Year awards, I want to recognize something just as important—the people who help keep this community moving forward here at

The Director’s Dinky Awards are for those whose efforts don’t always show up on a scoreboard. The people who step up, help out, welcome others, fix things when they break, support events, and bring positive energy day in and day out.

I’m fortunate enough to see everyone—not just wins and losses, but the time, care, and heart that so many of you give without expecting recognition. For the 2025 season, I wanted to make sure that didn’t go unnoticed.

This is simply my way of saying thank you. Congratulations to our Director’s Dinky Award recipients.

MLP at NFC – New League Announcement

With the success of MLP at NFC 17, we’re excited to announce MLP at NFC 15.
This league will run Thursday nights at 7:00 PM, starting January 22nd.

Teams will ideally consist of two men and two women, with a minimum of four teams. Each team must have a combined DUPR rating of 15 or less.

Don’t have a DUPR rating? No problem — I can assess you, or you can easily get one by attending a DUPR night at NFC.

From now until January 22nd, we’ll also be hosting MLP Mixers on Thursday nights so players can meet, play together, and form teams organically.

• Bags fly at 5:00 PM
• Registration opens at 4:00 PM
• $50 per team
• $1000 guaranteed prize pool + 100 percent payout
• If more than 25 teams register we will split into two brackets
• No team cap because we have plenty of space
• The grill by Kay food truck on-site
• No outside food or drinks please
