What a day for the Ballers at the February Frenzy! 🏆🔥

The day kicked off with & taking 🥈 in Men’s 3.5–4.0 Doubles. Then & captured 🥇 in Mixed 4.0–4.5 — and on Victor’s birthday no less! 🎉 Followed by & earning 🥉 in Men’s 4.0–4.5.

Joel wasn’t done — he came back at night to grab 🥈 with Irene in Mixed 3.5–4.0, where & also finished 🥉!

Every event had an NFC team… and every event we podiumed. Proud of this crew! 💪🔥

Today we celebrate a coach who has made a real difference here at NFC.

Dave, your attention to detail, your calm presence, and your ability to break the game down in a way that truly clicks for players is something special. You don’t just teach pickleball — you elevate it. You help players understand strategy, footwork, positioning, and the mental side of the game, and because of that, so many of our members have taken their play to the next level.

More importantly, you care. You invest in people. You celebrate their progress. You push them when they need it. And that kind of coaching leaves a lasting impact far beyond the court.

We are incredibly lucky to have you as part of the NFC community. Thank you for improving not just games — but confidence, friendships, and the culture of our club.

It was awesome hearing from so many of you and learning what you’re aiming to achieve this year—whether it’s leveling up, competing more, staying consistent, or just having more fun on the court.
Here’s to sticking with those goals and turning them into results. Wishing everyone a strong, healthy, and rewarding 2026 pickleball season. Let’s get after it.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to nominate and vote for their fellow members of the Pickleball Club community. Being recognized by your peers is truly an honor, and it speaks volumes about the culture we’ve built here together.

Congratulations to all of our award winners who helped make the 2025 season such a memorable year at NFC. A big congratulations to for earning Most Improved Player, and to Maggie Halen, who was named Golden Nugget of the Year. Congratulations as well to and , who tied for Women’s Player of the Year.

A huge congratulations to , our NFC Player of the Year, and a special nod to Mike Parusa, who earned Competitor of the Year by winning both the Court Climb and the River Rally Challenge in spring, summer & fall!

Most importantly, thank you to everyone in this community. It’s your energy, sportsmanship, and support that truly make this place special.

Before I announce the Player of the Year awards, I want to recognize something just as important—the people who help keep this community moving forward here at

The Director’s Dinky Awards are for those whose efforts don’t always show up on a scoreboard. The people who step up, help out, welcome others, fix things when they break, support events, and bring positive energy day in and day out.

I’m fortunate enough to see everyone—not just wins and losses, but the time, care, and heart that so many of you give without expecting recognition. For the 2025 season, I wanted to make sure that didn’t go unnoticed.
