It is my aim that Gillooly Funeral Home is more than just a business in Norwood - we are your neighbors and friends.
I am Eric Fay, the Managing Director of Gillooly Funeral Home. I am a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. I have been involved in funeral service for over thirty years and have been part of the Gillooly family since 2011. I attended Norfolk County Agricultural High School, and I am a graduate of the Funeral Institute of the Northeast, in Norwood where I graduated first in my class. I grew up in Hyde Park and raised my family in Dedham. In 2024 I moved to Norwood, and I reside in the house adjacent to the Funeral Home. By living on the premises, I show my commitment to the families we serve, as well as to the community. I am a member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Massachusetts Funeral Directors Association, Mu Sigma Alpha Funeral Honors Association, and a Lifetime Member of The Society in Dedham for Apprehending Horse Thieves. I am a licensed amateur radio operator, and I enjoy riding my Harley-Davidson motorcycle when I have some free time. Please feel free to stop in anytime for a visit or give me a call.
