Today we are proud to recognize Administrative Professionals Day, and especially our own Jean Turchan who has been the Office Manager at Gillooly Funeral Home for over three decades.

Each day, Jean helps us to assist families with kindness and compassion, and helps us operate the funeral home taking care of numerous details, from being the reassuring voice on this end of the phone, to contacting medical professionals, and creating prayer cards and other keepsakes.

Jean, thank you for all that you do for us and for our families !

Recently, Daisy McCarthy, our Funeral Apprentice participated in the 15th Annual HESSCO 5K at Mick Morgan’s. This beautiful 5K race route had a fun start and finish at the Mick Morgan’s Irish Pub in Sharon. This race helps raise funds for HESSCO programs such as Meals on Wheels and home care services. HESSCO is the Area Agency on Aging for 12 communities in South Norfolk County. This race is fun, festive and kicks off the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations and the road race season every year. Gillooly Funeral Home has been proud to partner with HESSCO for this event and others throughout the year.
