We could use a little help to make our upcoming bake sale a sweet success! 🍪🧁

We’re looking for volunteers to donate baked goods or lend a hand the day of the sale. Whether you love to bake, or just want to support, every bit helps! Store bought good welcome!

The Balch 4th Grade Committee will be hosting a bake sale on Election Day, Monday 4/6/26 outside of the Balch gym. We would appreciate baked goods to sell and volunteers to be present at the table. 🍝Balch 4th Grade Italian Dinner 🍝

🍅🍝🇮🇹Ciao Balch Families! We held our annual Italian dinner tonight and it was a wonderful night of community, connection, and delicious food. The 4th Graders practiced all week and they did a wonderful job having over 200 people over for dinner. Thank you to the families who volunteered, donated, and helped to make this night happen.

A big thank you to the event organizer, Balch parent Katie Kelly, who did so much work behind the scenes making sure that every detail came together seamlessly. We are also so proud of our 4th graders, who welcomed guests, served with care, and showed such confidence and teamwork throughout the night. They represented our school community beautifully.🍅🍝🇮🇹

📚💙💛Thank you Morrill Memorial Library for hosting a special Spring book fair! Each student got a blue ticket to ‘buy’ a book to keep! Make sure you ask about which bookmark they picked out. It was so great to see so many children excited to read! 📚💙💛

🚨Library Book Fair This Friday! 🚨

All students will get to pick out their own book. 🎟️

If the student brings money they will also be able to shop for additional books - for only $1.00 each! All funds raised will benefit the PTO.

Book fair will happen during school hours.

Introducing our newest Net Ninja Rookie, the one and only "Magic" Mirenis Camacho! 🥷✨ When she’s not busy being a paraprofessional at Balch, she can be found conjuring up delicious baked goods or trying to figure out which of her favorites to have for dinner, pizza OR tacos?! 🍕🌮

Her favorite color is purple, which perfectly matches her vibrant personality! 💜 She’s got a passion for math (yes, you read that right—math!), basketball, and all things delicious. If you ever need help with your math homework or want to challenge her to a game of HORSE, just remember: she’s got the magic touch! 🏀🪄

Join us in welcoming Mirenis to the Net Ninja squad! We can’t wait to see what kind of magic she brings to the team—preferably something involving pizza! 🍕🔮

The Morrill Memorial Library is hosting at Book Fair at the Balch during school hours. All students will receive a ticket to pick out their own book. Additional gently used books will be available for purchase, all under $5.

We have a fun week planned!

On Tuesday, the Harney-Crawford Academy of Irish Dance will be performing during school hours to help celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day.

Also on Tuesday, we have our PTO meeting at 7:00 PM in the school library.

On Thursday, we are providing the staff with a catered dinner to keep them going during parent-teacher conferences.

And finally, on Friday, the Morrill Library will be hosting a pop-up book fair!

The Nutcracker Fieldtrip is tomorrow (Friday).

If your student likes to get fancy, this is the day for it! There is also no specific dress code - so dress to impress or dress for comfort.

The students also helped to celebrate Mrs. Lariviere on her retirement! Mrs. Lariviere has been a cherished part of the Balch community, it is so bittersweet to say good-bye. 💕🥺🎼
