Our 53rd annual Holiday Share & Toy Drive 🎁 was a tremendous success on Dec 13th. Special thanks to the generosity of our donors, sponsors, partners, volunteers, and staff, 310 children from 155 families experienced the joy of the holiday season 🎄💕 We are grateful to ABC7 News for helping to shine a light on this meaningful community effort. The Novato Fire Protection District brought a very special visitor to our preschool and playgroup kiddos this week — Santa arrived riding in a fire engine! The kids had an absolute blast, and the holiday spirit was definitely felt. Huge thank you to Rotary Club of Ignacio for helping make this magical visit possible. We are so grateful for our amazing community partners! ✨❤️

Fun was had by all at the Heroes and Helpers Novato event on Dec 6! 54 NMCS children (ages 5–10) enjoyed a magical holiday experience with caring first responders from the Novato Police Department and Novato Fire Protection District. After children traveled on the Novato Unified School District bus, they paired with a first responder and received a $100 Target gift card to shop for meaningful gifts for their families. Thank you to the sponsors of this annual event. A heartfelt thank you to Sasha at NPD for coordinating this wonderful event and partnering so seamlessly with NFD, NUSD, and NMCS. And a special shout-out to Santa Steve from the NMCS Team, who was a huge hit with the kids (and adults)! Thank you all for bringing joy, dignity, and unforgettable memories to children and families during this holiday season. Community partnerships like this truly make the season brighter. 🎁

Great news! North Marin Community Services is now accepting Medi-Cal/Partnership HealthPlan counseling clients through Carelon, making counseling services free for eligible clients. We continue to offer counseling for children, teens, adults, and families, as self-pay clients on a sliding scale.
