Here’s what to do instead:

🍳 Eat breakfast + earlier dinner�Aim for 25–35g of protein within 1–2 hours of waking and finish dinner 2–3 hours before bed to support cortisol rhythm and improve insulin sensitivity.

💪 Prioritize strength over excess cardio�Strength train 3–4x per week (30–45 min sessions) and keep cardio to 2–3 low-impact sessions (like walking 8–10k steps/day) to avoid chronically elevated cortisol.

🥩 Increase protein intake�Target 0.8–1.0g of protein per pound of ideal body weight (typically ~100–140g/day for most women) to maintain muscle and support metabolism.

🍿 Stop constant snacking�Space meals 3–4 hours apart with 3 balanced meals (and 1 intentional snack if needed) to allow insulin to drop and promote fat burning.

💤 Prioritize sleep�Get 7–9 hours of sleep nightly, with consistent bed/wake times, to regulate hunger hormones, cortisol, and blood sugar.
