2025. What. A. Year. 😀

We held 6,718 individual sessions and 4 different groups!

We moved to a new location over twice as big as our previous one!

We added a new therapist, and current therapists were able to expand their hours!

Happy Holidays! We are wishing you comfort this holiday season, and hoping it provides whatever you may need.

We are closed *12/22/25-1/2/26* so our therapists and admin can get some much deserved rest and reset time.

About 3-4 times a year we meet to discuss topics on the weekend. This weekend Candace led us in a discussion about ND affirming goal writing! We were able to discuss the complexities of affirming our clients and meeting insurance requirements. Our teams engaged in break out sessions—and came up with some amazing shifts in language to continue our growth as an affirming practice!

Welcome Jenny Perino, OT to the Lead The Way team! We are so happy you're with us, Jenny!

Jenny graduated from Western Michigan University in 2004 with a Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy. After graduation she worked 12 years as a pediatric occupational therapist in varying settings such as outpatient clinics, schools and homes.

Jenny has many trainings that include being SIPT certified, PLAY Project trained, Interactive Metronome trained, Therapeutic Listening trained, training in iLS, Handwriting Without Tears Level 1 certified, and Pediatric Therapeutic Taping trained.

In 2016 Jenny took a “break” from occupational therapy to raise her 4 children and open and operate 4 DIY studios for almost a decade but is now back in the clinic setting and excited to be working with the pediatric population again. She is passionate about assisting her clients and their families thrive through child-led, play-based therapy while being respectful and neurodiverse affirming.
