Honored to partner with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, OSUCCC-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute and OSU Hospital East in celebration of Social Work Month!

Our team had the privilege of providing continuing education for their dedicated Social Workers and Case Managers, featuring an engaging presentation on Dementia, Behavioral Health, and Redirection strategies. The session was led by Dr. Daniel Heiser, Vice President of Behavioral Health at GuideStar Eldercare.

We were thrilled by the strong participation and meaningful discussions, and it was wonderful to see teams learning together while enjoying lunch. Most importantly, we’re proud to support education that can be immediately incorporated into daily patient care and interactions.

Thank you for the continued collaboration and for the opportunity to work together in serving our shared patients. We deeply value this partnership and look forward to many more opportunities ahead.

🤗Say hello to Betty, Kingsford Administrator
She has spent more than 30 years working in the long-term care field in many different roles and can’t imagine doing anything else. She loves working for Optalis because she shares our belief that residents always come first. When days get hectic, she refocuses on the residents who drew her to this work in the first place. She resides in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan and feels grateful for the life and community she loves and serves. Betty considers it a privilege she'd never take for granted.
Outside of work, she has been married to her wonderful husband, Mark, for 39 years. They share five children and ten grandchildren who keep their life full and busy.

With 30 years of experience in long term care, Christy began her career as a Certified Occupational Therapist and has spent the last 15 years serving in Administrator and Regional Director of Operations roles. She values the opportunity to lead with purpose while directly contributing to a better quality of life for the seniors she serves. Creating a positive, supportive environment for residents and staff is at the heart of her work.
Christy has proudly been part of the Four Seasons team for three years.
Outside of work, Christy enjoys spending time with her husband, children, grandson, and extended family. She especially loves camping, boating, and attending sporting events together.

🤗Say hello to Juliana
Juliana has been an Administrator since 1999 after graduating from Michigan State. She is also certified in 🎶 Music and Memory, which has engaged her as a DJ from 2013 to 2020 when Covid came upon the world. She had a radio show called the "Jazzy Blues" and met many professional musicians as a result. Additionally, she is certified in Home and Hospice through NAB.
Outside of work she is a proud mother of two sons and has four grandchildren. She has two sweet little dachshunds and her hobbies include enjoying concerts and traveling to new, exciting places.
