🎄 Gingerbread Cookies — The December Taste of Joy 🍪

December is the month when your kitchen smells like cinnamon, cloves… and happiness. These aromatic gingerbread cookies aren’t just a dessert — they’re a heartwarming tradition you’ll want to repeat every year.

🌟 Healthy Gingerbread Cookies

Ingredients: • 2 cups whole-grain flour • 1 tsp ground ginger • 1 tsp cinnamon • ½ tsp baking soda • A pinch of salt • 2 tbsp coconut oil (or butter) • ⅓ cup honey or Jerusalem artichoke syrup • 1 egg

Instructions:
In one bowl, mix all dry ingredients.
In another, whisk the egg, honey, and melted oil.

I came to 7.7 Nutrition Novi with an ambitious goal: I wanted to get in the best shape of my life, and summit Mount Kilimanjaro. I had already been exercising regularly and following what I thought was a healthy diet, but was not happy with where I was at, and most definitely would not have made it to the 19,380 feet elevation summit on the grueling 7-day climb.

Through a process of regular check-ins and adjustments to my meal plan, I was able to get in the best shape of my life and reach the summit on February 13, 2025. Most importantly, the lessons I learned about when, what, and how much to eat, are something I will be able to use to stay fit for the rest of my life.

I am very glad I went with 7.7 Nutrition and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!
