There is a lot of information in this article about non-surgical treatment for a herniated disc. What they do leave out is chiropractic and spinal decompression. Spinal decompression is one of the most effective ways of taking pressure off of a disc. The spinal decompression device slowly stretches out the neck or low back which opens up space between vertebrae: ultimately taking pressure off of the disc using a vacuum effect to pull the disc off of nerve roots and back between the vertebrae.
