With full hearts, we gathered for the final Nyack Hospital Auxiliary Harvest Tea—a beautiful and bittersweet moment that brought decades of service, friendship, and devotion full circle. 🍂☕️

After disbanding earlier this year, the Auxiliary came together one last time to celebrate an extraordinary legacy of volunteerism and to honor Brigitte Simon, whose remarkable journey of service began in 1986. For nearly four decades, she embodied the very spirit of compassion, generosity, and commitment that defined the Auxiliary and helped shape Nyack Hospital for generations.

Guests enjoyed tea, light bites, and meaningful conversation, highlighted by an inspiring planned giving and estate planning presentation by Cane & Boniface, a trusted local law firm now partnering with the Montefiore Nyack Foundation to grow our Planned Giving program and ensure the Hospital’s future remains strong for years to come.

The Nyack Hospital Auxiliary may have closed this chapter, but its impact will live on—in the lives touched, the programs supported, and the unwavering belief in community-centered care.

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year! ✨
Today we celebrated the season with the Highland Medical team at a festive holiday party featuring a catered lunch, cupcakes, photo booth fun, and raffles. Congratulations to Delicia, winner of Best Holiday Garb! 🎄

We’re especially grateful to our staff for collecting gloves, mittens, and scarves for our Dignity Closet, supporting our most vulnerable patients. Your dedication and compassion mean everything to all of us. Thank you for all that you do! 💙 🏥❤️‍🩹

Off to the Races! 🐎 🥇 🏆 🎰

Last night, our incredible volunteer committee came together to begin planning Derby Royale, our Inaugural Kentucky Derby–themed signature gala, taking place Saturday, May 9 at Edgewood Country Club.

This unforgettable evening will feature:
• A physician honoree (to be announced)
• Cocktail-style dining and open bar
• A high-energy casino experience, including electronic horse racing
• An elegant night inspired by the pageantry and excitement of the Kentucky Derby

Derby attire is mandatory — think bold hats, bow ties, florals, and classic Derby style.

Tickets are limited and available now. This event will sell out, so we encourage early reservations.
All proceeds will support the Hospital’s most urgent and evolving patient care needs — ensuring our community has access to high-quality, lifesaving care when it’s needed most.

Today, Montefiore Nyack Hospital came together for our annual Chanukah Menorah Lighting, led by Rabbi Chaim Z. Ehrenreich from Chabad of the Nyacks. Board members, senior leadership, staff, patients, and families gathered in community and celebration as the menorah’s glow grew brighter.
