We’re proud to announce the appointment of Montefiore Nyack Hospital Board of Trustees member, William Shum, to the American Hospital Association (AHA) Committee on Governance (COG). The AHA is a national advocacy organization that represents and serves hospitals, healthcare networks, and the patients and communities they serve. The COG plays a vital role in advising the AHA on advocacy positions, public policy issues, and governance and trusteeship strategies.

Celebrating another milestone anniversary for Helen Hayes-Perkins, who has dedicated the last 45 years of her professional career to Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Helen has held numerous positions within Food and Nutrition Services, also serving as Administrator of Support Services and Director of Volunteer Services & Gift Shop. She spearheaded the hospital’s We Care standards and implemented the Employee Rewards and Recognition team. Helen’s dedication and enthusiasm for the organization, our team, and those we serve are evidenced in every project she takes on or supports. We congratulate Helen and thank her for exemplary service and contributions to the health and well-being of our community.
