Here's a very well done review of the damage our devices have when attempting to connect with others. Social media is one thing; but the simple act of having our device present during time spent with another is detrimental to the significant importance of connection.

Parents, the new school year is going to come with some significant changes. The adjustments will be difficult, creating much discomfort for many; however, the overall outcomes will indefinitely allow for improved moods, safety, and attention.

I hope you take time with your kiddos to discuss how to best manage this change and maintain open communication to express emotions and feelings, while encouraging resilience and patience.

The legislation includes expanding the use of safe baby boxes in the state.
