With new faces in the clinic and new friends here, it's time for introductions!

While every child is assigned to a therapist at ABC, our team meets weekly to discuss client goals, progress, challenges and most importantly - which toys and games motivate them best. So, if a substitute therapist is ever in order, you can be assured of a friendly, familiar-with-you face!

Ms. Brooke & Ms. Kyla are up first, and we'll introduce you a few more folks next week.

At ABC Pediatric Therapy our team is your team. That means that while your child is assigned a primary therapist, they're treated with the support, brainpower and experience of our entire 10-person team.

Some of our therapists have over 20 years of pediatric clinical experience and bring a seen-it-all knowledge base. Others have recently graduated and come with the newest treatment methods and research data fresh in their minds.

Each week, our team meets to review patient progress, successes and challenges. They brainstorm how to be most effective for individual patients and create a high continuity of care for those times that a clinician is out of the clinic.

The easiest way to keep working on PT skills at home is to let seasons and holidays give you a theme! The movements can be the same ole boring thing, but a new theme makes it fun and fresh for kids. Everyone's favorite season (right?!) has arrived: football season! So grab your helmet and let's go!

It won't take much effort to go all in on this theme - be the coach, blow your pretend whistle, have your player put on their fave football shirt or jersey, do the activities while you watch the pre-game commentary, etc.

**Not all movements are appropriate for all kids. These are just general suggestions. Please follow your therapist's advice and guidance and adapt as needed!**

Starting speech should be fun for kids and easy for caregivers!

When considering if its time to seek speech therapy for your child, keep in mind there can be some waiting involved since we're not working with one-time visits but rather ongoing appointments. Get started as soon as you or your pediatrician suspect it's time.

We're always here to answer questions and provide guidance on getting started!
