St. Louis Measles update:

There is a confirmed case of measles from an out of state resident who visited the St Louis Aquarium between 1-6 pm on April 30th. They also ate at a local restaurant, but details have not been released.

For those who did NOT visit aquarium - no additional intervention necessary.

If you did visit the museum on 4/30 between 1-6 pm prophylactic treatmentt may be waternted if you or your child is:
—unvaccinated
—immunocompromised
—pregnant

If you child meeta this criteria, please call our office asap as the window for post exposure prophylaxis ends tomorrow 5/6.

The incubation period for measles after an exposure is 10-12 days which would fall on 5/10-5/12 for this exposure .
