Protect your wind gates!
Midwestern weather is cold and windy today. Wear a scarf to protect the area between the base of your skull and the shoulders. This area, the wind gates, are believed more vulnerable to the invasion of evil cold and wind that causes illness. Stay toasty!

Thank you Erliss, The Monkey Whisperer
Sometimes, I make poor decisions. Yesterday, I ate the entire box of Little Debbie snack cakes. Debbie and I broke up years ago. She with her Nutty Bar crispy, smooth, salty and sweet temptation and me with my need for immediate gratification. Yesterday, a combination of stress and poor planning led me back to that toxic relationship with my ex. We’ve all been there. I won’t allow myself to be shamed over it. I won’t punish myself for the mistake by excessive restriction today. I will drink a little more water, move more, be sure to get some healthy, soothing foods before that afternoon slump and move on with the business of the day. I hope you’ll do the same💕☯️

I have been known to make really poor decisions in my life. And nothing anyone said to me would cause me to change direction - not until I was willing to accept help. Then I listened.

Today I am super grateful for those people.
