Gutshall Kohle Pelster Eyecare is hiring for a full-time position!
We are seeking an outgoing, positive, high-energy individual to be a part of our team. The individual would enjoy working with people, be responsible for providing excellent patient care, and assisting in all areas of the office. Strong organization skills and the ability to work in a team environment is desired.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
– greeting patients
– answering phones, calling patients, scheduling appointments
– working alongside doctors, data entry, chart preparation
– scheduling referrals and post operative appointments
– checking patients in and out
– receiving and posting payments
– faxing, scanning, copying
– pretesting and working with patients
– confirming appointments
– using strong technology skills including detailed and efficient data entry
– checking insurance benefits
– working with patients during glasses frame selections
– checking in orders, dispensing glasses and contacts
Must:
– be reliable and punctual
– pay strong attention to detail
– have excellent computer skills, and be willing to learn new programs
– be a strong communicator with patients, co-workers, and doctors
– be kind and compassionate
– be cheerful and welcoming
– have a passion for heathy lifestyle and the importance of visual health
– be a team player
– be able to think independently, problem solve, ask questions
– be willing to learn
– be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
