We’re saddened to share the passing of John Miller, a cherished member of the Valley Hope Association Board of Directors and the Valley Hope Foundation Board of Trustees. John is remembered for a life rooted in recovery, service, and compassion for others. This year, he celebrated 52 years of sobriety.

John’s legacy is one of steady leadership and heartfelt encouragement, especially for those still finding their way. We are grateful for the hope he carried and the lives he touched through his commitment to recovery.

Valley Hope of O'Neill is a 76-bed, short-term residential substance use disorder treatment facility located in north central Nebraska (O’Neill), 110 miles north of Grand Island and just 40 miles from the South Dakota state line. Valley Hope of O'Neill has been providing evidence-based, effective, comprehensive, and affordable SUD treatment for over 40-years, is accredited by The Joint Commission, and is also a member of National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers.
