❄️ As winter weather continues, please remember to keep all exterior vents, exhaust pipes, gas meters, and outdoor heating/AC units clear of snow and ice.

🚨 Why this matters:
Snow-covered or blocked vents can force dangerous carbon monoxide (CO) back into your home, creating a serious — and potentially fatal — health risk. Buried equipment can also cause heating systems to shut down, leading to frozen pipes and costly damage.

✅ Stay safe this winter:
• Clear snow from vents, exhaust pipes, gas meters, and outdoor units
• Check these areas after every snowfall
• Install and maintain carbon monoxide detectors

Protect your family, neighbors, and property.

Clear snow. Save lives. Prevent damage.

With freezing temps dropping for the next few days, roads can get dangerously icy in different areas. Stay off roads until conditions improve.

If you must drive:
- Always pay attention to the road.
- Slow down & don’t use cruise control.
- Leave extra space between cars.

Extreme cold can make your pipes freeze and break. Here are ways to help avoid that:
- Open your cabinet doors so warm air can get to your pipes
- Let water drip slowly from your faucet

[Sunday Storm] Our coastal storm on Sunday has trended further offshore which will limit the impact for southern New England. The best chance of some appreciable snow is Nantucket, with Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard a close second. Winds will be gusting 30-50 mph.
