Looking for a gluten-free bread option that doesn’t require a dozen unfamiliar ingredients? 😅

So many recipes are overly complicated or packed with additives. This Lentil Flatbread is refreshingly simple, as well as super versatile. Use it for toast, pizza crust, tacos, or enjoy it on its own with your favorite seasonings. 🙌

All you need:

1 cup split red lentils

2 cups filtered water

1/2 tsp salt

Instructions:
➡️ Rinse the lentils well until the water runs clear.
➡️ Add lentils and water to a blender and let them soak for at least 15 minutes (or overnight for convenience).
➡️ After soaking, blend until smooth (about 1 minute). Let the batter sit for another 15 minutes to thicken.
➡️ Add salt (and any favorite spices like garlic powder, cumin, or herbs) and pulse to mix.
➡️ Preheat a non-stick skillet on low heat and lightly spray with avocado or olive oil.
➡️ Stir the batter, then pour onto the skillet using a measuring cup. Spread into a thin layer.
➡️ Cook for 2–3 minutes per side. Flip gently with a wooden or silicone spatula.
➡️ Cool on a wire rack.

That’s it! Perfect for quick meals or prepping ahead.

These compounds are linked to improved glucose metabolism and better insulin sensitivity, making dark tea a promising choice for those at risk of or managing diabetes.

🔥 The study suggests that drinking dark tea may help regulate blood sugar by enhancing insulin activity and reducing inflammation. These effects can support better glycemic control and lower the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
