The Genesis Therapy Center is an established, not-for-profit counseling center providing collaborative, diverse and professional services.

Since our founding in 1987, The Genesis Therapy Center has provided high quality assessment, counseling and consultation services to individuals, couples, families and organizations. We continue to grow our practice with the same compassion, dedication and inclusion we have with our clients, donors and our community. The Genesis Therapy Center is a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation. Tax-deductible donations are encouraged through our Community Care Program, which provides services (on a sliding fee scale) to those in the communities we serve who have limited income and limited ability to pay. The Genesis Therapy Center is seeking sponsors for our Spring “Fun and Games Fundraiser,” scheduled for April 27, from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Prestwick Country Club, 601 Prestwick Drive, Frankfort, IL. The 21-and-over event will feature a variety of activities, including trivia, a wine pull, music, raffles, a buffet, an open bar, and more. Three sponsorship levels are available: $250, $500, and $ 1,000.

It isn’t easy to control your mental attitude. In fact, it’s hard work. After all, attitude is directly related to whether or not you will live a happy, meaningful, and energized life. Think about it, wouldn’t you rather be the person always finding new opportunities, rather than the complainer who is focusing on the negative? When we have a positive attitude, we can deal with problems more effectively and bounce back more quickly from mistakes and setbacks.
