As a newer nonprofit, Excultra Health & Wellness is building programs to support our community and HCC Network has been an incredible partner in this journey. They enable us to refer patients to vital health, dental, and behavioral services while also providing some guidance as we grow.

Thanks to a generous sponsorship from Health Forward Foundation , this week we were able to send one of our dedicated volunteers to the Community Health Workers Association of Missouri (CHWAM) Conference.

This conference is designed to bring together community health workers, advocates, and health care leaders from across the state to share knowledge, strengthen skills, and collaborate on ways to better serve our communities. It provides valuable opportunities for learning, networking, and advancing the impact of community-based care.

We are proud to invest in opportunities like this that empower our team and strengthen the work we do every day. Experiences like these help us continue growing, learning, and delivering meaningful support to the individuals and families we serve.

What an amazing 2️⃣ days we had at the Missouri Capitol building, meeting with legislators + advocating for veterans, first responders, and their families in west central Missouri. I would be amiss if I did not say “advocacy work filled a part of my heart that I had no idea was empty. “

Our heroes deserve to have someone fighting for them. They deserve to have individuals and organitions that will not rest until the gap is filled. I, along with our organization, Exculta Health and Wellness, are proud of fill those shoes.

I am in awe at the hard work being done by our representatives, senators, and their staffers.

I also had the distinct honor of meeting with Rep. Griffith, chairman of the Veterans + armed forces committee. To hear his story, share the stories of our heroes, and to share the perspective of hero spouses, what an absolute joy.
