Unwanted feelings are like warning lights on the dashboard of the soul - they tell us something is wrong under the hood. Ignore them and systems malfunction. Paying attention to the feeling helps us move through unwanted thoughts and emotions to healthier ones. Lean into God as you lean into the feeling. Then do something different to avoid getting stuck in your feelings. There’s always a way through when you know The Way (Jesus).

We made it! Crossings 3.0 is complete and ready to begin seeing clients in the new space. As soon as everyone in our area is healthier, of course. For now, you can find me right here during teletherapy sessions or while enjoying my GrAndrew crawling around, playing in this incredible space. Many thanks to my man and glory to God for this adventure! Can’t wait for you to stop by for a visit!

I still think Daddy God looks at us the way we look at our babies (especially the grands) 🥰😍 — so full of love, eager to hold, savoring every moment. Putting Him central and first helps us actually experience all that love. ❤️

What’s the matter with me? I’ve struggled with social settings as long as I can remember. I’ve identified with being shy, socially awkward, insecure. God helped me realize the problem with groups is me. He said “Put away all effort to impress.” Woah.

I’ve shown up to social groups having the desire to impress people, hoping to feel good about myself in return. Yes, I want to share Jesus! But I’ve also wanted to impress people so maybe I could finally feel better about myself.

Instead people aren’t impressed with me (nor should they be) and don’t usually validate me to my own liking. And somehow I let that inform me I’m worth less, lacking, nothing. So, I would try harder, get lost in sadness, feel terrible, retreat, isolate.

“What a wretched girl I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!” Romans 7: 24-25

Yep, I’m not that same girl anymore. Here’s my new declaration for living out God’s purpose of magnifying Him:

“I’m impressed with only Jesus who satisfies my soul.” ❤️

When I’m impressed with Christ alone, I’m totally satisfied by Him. Then, I can fully enjoy people and allow Him to use me as a funnel. I can experience joy and represent Him WHILE I ENGAGE IN GROUPS! Talk about transformation!

So, what’s the matter with me? Everything that isn’t Jesus.

How do you share your whole heart? I’ll only scratch the surface. This mama gives all for her little nugget & his dad. I celebrate the way she does brave and difficult every day so Andrew can experience growth and joy! Kinsley, you love fully, you’re loyal and the best gift giver ever, you’re creative, you choose kindness, family, & funny every time, and you’re not afraid of a good DIY especially if it makes your house a home! Oh and your singing voice makes my heart dance & calms Andrew like magic! All these God-given traits and so much more make YOU , the perfect mama to the greatest little guy! I just hope you have Happy Mother’s Days every day! 🥰😍❤️👶🏻🎁

A week ago I was bent over, riddled with pain from muscles bones & nerves in lockdown, immobile. An all too familiar chapter in a story I’d rather not be reading much less living. Back trouble. It’s a long story of FREEDOM for another day.

I’m here to testify to God’s healing power! Every single time!! A week later I can walk 2 miles again, pick up and get down in the floor playing with sweet little Andrew, move fully and free from pain!!! This is all God! He is Healer! He is Good! Even in the pain, He’s working for our good!!! Shout out to Jesus!!! Thank you to my hubby & daughter for taking great care of me. And thanks to my friend for prayers to be healed faster than usual. It sure did happen!! Miraculously!! Just thanks Jesus!
