Did you know November is Veterans Month? As a veteran, a business owner, and a military spouse, I wanted to share some fun facts:
• Veterans Day is Nov 11 & is a day to honor all veterans whom have served
• 1.9 million businesses are owned by veterans but only 8% of these are owned by female veterans
• 11% of the veteran population are women
• veteran business week was canceled this year due to the government shut down

Throughout November, we’ll be sharing veteran-related facts, resources, and insights each Saturday - plus doing a fundraiser for a veteran organization (more details to come!).

And yes… I dug out a few old military photos for proof! 🤣 Happy Saturday!

We have some exciting news! We will now be a vendor on co-op! We are still in the process of creating our profile & uploading our handcrafted products, but we are working hard to finish before the next ordering window! If you know me personally, you know I love Whidbey Island Grown Co-op & their mission & I’m so excited to get to be a part of it! (And if you don’t already follow or know about their mission, please look them up!)

Thought today was a great reminder: if you’re sick please think twice about popping by! However, if you’re needing something to help you feel better we have multiple options for you! (Not pictured are our handcrafted tea blends to help with different symptoms!)
Ways we can help:
1. Call us! We’ll get your order, send you an invoice & you can swing by & we’ll run your order out to you in your car!
2. Order online for an in store pick up! (We can also run that out to your car!)
3. Send us a message! We can do the same thing as with calls or in store pick ups.
4. Send a friend! When they’re done shopping, we can also send you the invoice directly to pay so they don’t have to worry about it!
5. These don’t work? Call us & we will figure out something for you! We are here to help- ALWAYS! Our number one mission is to care for the community but we can’t do that if we’re ill as well! Thank you all for being so understanding!

November for me is a lot cooking, meal prepping, & final harvest preparations. I love keeping carnelian in my kitchen to enhance my passion, keep me motivated on finishing canning & winter preps, & keeps my creativity flowing to come up with new recipes! We have a ton of options for carnelian pieces in the studio. Everything from vibrant oranges, deep reds, pale pink tones, & beautiful banding in palm stones, flames, large palms, towers, & hearts! Anyone else have little altars or crystals sprinkled around their homes?

Cleansing waters are a great way to bring a ritual into your mundane chores! They’re also great for those that won’t, don’t, or can’t burn herbs in their spaces to cleanse! Use it for mopping, put in a spray bottle for spraying around your home, clean your doors or window frames with them, the options are just endless!
