Hi 🫶🏼 There are lots of new faces on here, so I thought I’d share a little about myself.
My name is Hannah, and there many things I love about life that deeply inspire and lift me up. One of those things being massage therapy. I feel connected to the peace and stillness found within movement of the body, and view massage as a beautiful dance. A dance of helping others to slow down, breathe deeper, feel more connected to their bodies, relieve pain & stress, regulate their nervous system, and to have the opportunity to simply be.
I believe these are things that we genuinely need for our thrival, rather than survival. One saying I was told in massage school that has stuck with me my whole career is, “we get so caught up in our human doings that we forget to be human being’s ”. If this saying resonates with you, I’d like to invite you to take some time today to be still, breathe deep into your lower belly, calm the mind, and just be in the present moment.
I love people and feel curious about others life experiences, and the threads that connect us. My work has connected me with so many wonderful people and experiences that leave me in a continuous state of awe and gratitude. Crossing paths with hundreds of beautiful souls over the years and bearing witness to their journey has greatly impacted the way I look at life and treat others. That is a gift I honor every day.
I chose this work to help make a positive impact on others, not knowing how much it would greatly impact me as well. Being a massage therapist has shown me the meaning of reciprocity. It has taught me patience and unconditional love. It has shown me the power of intentional, healing touch and holding space. It has shown me the depth and innate intelligence of the human anatomy. It’s taught me not have expectations and to meet others exactly where there at. It has taught me how to communicate without words. To walk a path of truth and integrity. To be guided by my inner wisdom, and to be of service to the greater good for all of humanity.
When I’m not working, I love to spend my time outside paddle boarding, swimming, foraging for plants and mushrooms in the forest, biking, spending time with my loved ones, crafting jewelry, snowboarding in the winter, writing poetry, learning new things & continuing my education, playing the guitar, hiking, flower- admiring, doing yoga, tending the garden/earth, loving on animals, soaking up the sun, making yummy meals in the kitchen, and crafting up herbal remedies.
Everything I do outside of work deeply inspires and nourishes what I do in my massage practice— filling my cup and nourishing the care I offer others.
Thanks for being here. I’m so honored to do this work and grateful for the connections it brings. 💛
