I have been asked several times the past week if I was leaving Mountain Laurel Medical Clinic, the answer is NO!!
So to clarify, Vandalia Health, the parent company of Charleston Area Medical Center, will be acquiring Plateau Medical Center and it’s clinics on April 1st. I’m excited to share that this acquisition means patients in the area will have access to a wider range of healthcare services and providers, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes.
I’m also happy to report despite the acquisition, patients of Mountain Laurel Medical Clinic in Oak Hill can still receive excellent quality care from all the providers there including myself, Dr . Keaveny and Meagan Kreps, FNP. The clinic has been providing exceptional care to their patients for many years , and we look forward to continuing to do so.
For our current patients , there will be no changes to their care plan. They can continue to schedule appointments and receive the same level of care they have come to expect. And new patients are always welcome- I’m excited to expand my patient base and provide care to more individuals in need.
Overall, I believe the acquisition of Plateau Medical Center and its clinics by Vandalia Health is a positive development for patients in the area. With the addition of new services and providers , patients will have access to better care and more options for their healthcare needs. And for my patients, they can rest assured that they will continue to receive the same quality care they have always received.
