It's our pleasure to support your mission!

Last week we had the pleasure to be visited by Rhonda Whited with Oak Hill Place in Fayette County. The residents recently held a Jail or Bail fundraiser, and they raised funds to donate to the Meals On Wheels providers in multiple neighboring counties including ours! This is the second year that our program has been blessed by their generosity, and we cannot thank them enough for thinking of our Home Delivered Meal program!

OHP has wrapped up our Winter Olympics, and wow—what a time! Our resident and staff athletes brought their A-game!

We capped off the festivities with a closing ceremony and medal presentation. The smiles, laughter, and playful trash-talking made this a winter to remember!

Today we celebrate 100 years of an extraordinary life!

Happy 100th Birthday to Carl Beverage, a true American hero and beloved member of our community!

At just 18 years old, he answered the call to serve in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. His courage and sacrifice earned him the distinguished Purple Heart — a testament to his bravery and love of country.

After returning home, he continued serving his community in so many ways — as a skilled TV repairman back when families gathered around their very first television sets, and later as a friendly, familiar face behind the wheel as a bus driver. He built a life defined by hard work, dedication, and quiet strength.

But beyond his service and career, his greatest pride has always been his family. A devoted father, and grandfather, he has built a legacy of love that spans generations.

Today, we honor not just 100 years of life — but 100 years of courage, commitment, resilience, laughter, and wisdom. Thank you for your service, your stories, and the example you continue to set for all of us.

Happy Birthday Carl! We salute you, we honor you and we love you!!
