Here’s a pic of a slave trader licking the face of a captured African. If he tasted salt he would not buy the African because these Africans were not “salt sensitive” and would not be able to stand the rigor of dehydration on the slave ships. Salt retains water and increases pressure. BLOOD PRESSURE. So with the advent of the new guidelines to decrease salt in all foods, let’s not forget that hypertension (salt sensitivity) in African Americans was basically genetically engineered by slave owners to secure the safe passage of their “property” to the US
