⏱ Schedule: 12-hour Days (7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.)
💰 Pay: $67.00–$74.00/hr
🩺 Experience: 1+ year required

🧡 What You’ll Do
• Care for high-acuity LTAC patients: respiratory failure, post-op, cardiac, trauma & more
• Manage PEG tubes, CVC/PICC/Midline access, trachs, and titrated drips
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy: vents, CPAP/BiPAP, high-flow oxygen
• Float to ICU or Acute Rehab as needed
• Maintain high standards of documentation & patient safety

✅ Requirements
• Active Illinois RN license (or proof submitted)
• BLS required, ACLS preferred
• Strong experience in LTAC, Med Surg, or step-down care

🔎 What You’ll Do
• Deliver prescribed radiation treatments using specialized therapy equipment

• Design custom treatment devices for individualized care
• Support efficient workflow within the Radiation Oncology department

✅ Qualifications
• Current IEMA Department of Nuclear Safety license
• ARRT registered or registry-eligible (must obtain within 6 months)
• Completion of a 2-year Radiation Therapy training program
• 2+ years of experience preferred

⭐ Position Overview
An Oak Park Hospital is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a steady once-per-week schedule plus high-value call shifts. This role is perfect for techs with strong diagnostic + interventional cardiac cath experience who can operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
You may also float to the EP Lab for training and additional support.

🗓 Schedule
1 guaranteed shift per week: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Every other weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun)
1–2 weekday call shifts per week
No block scheduling

🎯 Required Experience
1+ year recent IR or cardiac cath lab experience
Experience in:
Diagnostic Cardiac Cath
Interventional Cardiac Cath
Ability to take call
Comfortable with adult patient populations

ARRT (R) – required
Fluoroscopy Permit – required
State Radiology License – required
