Behavioral Learning, PLLC Science + Heart. We encourage and support diversity, equity and inclusion within our workplace and the treatment that we provide.

At Behavioral Learning, we are committed to creating a safe and collaborative environment to empower growth and foster individualized behavior change. Our goal is to develop professionally caring relationships with each of our learners where cultural values, religious affiliation, and identity as self-defined are respected and integrated into treatment, as appropriate. Regardless of ability level, all are afforded the freedoms of everyday life and human rights are valued. Our therapeutic framework is based in third-wave behavior analytic support, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). As counselors, social workers, and behavior analysts, we utilize data-based decision making to determine and enhance individualized change. MISSION STATEMENT: We are passionate about learning across the lifespan. Our primary mission is to transform adult services by integrating mental and behavioral health services into high quality, compassionate neuroaffirming care. The 2025 Human Rights Day theme reminds us that human rights are part of our everyday essentials, including the support we need for our mental well-being.

Everyone deserves access to care, respect, and meaningful support that allows them to live with dignity.

Let’s keep building communities where compassion is real, equity is felt, and mental health care is within reach for all.

You don’t have to rush your growth just because the year is ending.

December isn't a deadline. It’s an invitation to slow down and notice how far you’ve come.

There is still space for rest, clarity, and gentle reflection.
Let this month be about honoring your journey, not pressuring yourself to finish everything at once.

Every body. Every brain.

Human diversity is natural, and our environments should reflect that. When we remove barriers and support individual needs, we increase opportunities for connection, learning, and well-being.

Gratitude doesn’t end when November does. Like any good habit, it grows with consistency. Setting small reminders to pause and appreciate can make gratitude part of everyday life.

💡 Try this: Set a daily reminder on your phone to write down one thing you’re thankful for through December.

🗣️ What helps you remember to stay grateful during busy days?

Image Description: A purple graphic with a taped white note that says, “Reminder: Gratitude doesn’t end when November does.” Decorative shapes surround the note, and the Behavioral Learning logo appears at the bottom corner.

Gratitude starts with noticing. Pause for a moment today and look around. What’s one thing in your environment, or one person in your life, that brings you comfort or joy?

💡 Try this: Take two minutes to name three things around you right now that make you feel good. Saying them out loud helps them stick.

🗣️Share one thing you’re grateful for in this exact moment.

Image Description: A purple graphic with white text that reads, “Stop Scrolling. Look around. Name 3 things that make you smile. Go!” Decorative floral line art appears on the left and right edges, and the Behavioral Learning logo and contact information are at the bottom.

Gratitude doesn’t just feel good; it helps relationships grow. When we say “thank you” and mean it, we show people their actions matter, and that positive cycle continues.

💡 Try this: Instead of just saying “thanks,” tell someone what you appreciated (“Thanks for listening, it really helped me feel calmer.”).

🗣️ Tag someone you want to thank and tell them what they did that meant something to you.

Image Description: A graphic with text that reads “Saying Thank You Makes a Difference” in purple with orange accents and a heart design. The Behavioral Learning logo and contact details appear at the bottom.

Gratitude, like any skill, can be shaped over time. Start small: notice one thing each day that makes life a bit brighter, and reinforce yourself for taking the time to reflect. Over time, this behavior becomes more natural and more frequent.

💡 Behavior Tip: Track your “gratitude moments” for a week. Frequency builds fluency!

🗣️ Comment below with one small thing you’re thankful for today, no matter how simple.

Image Description: A trail of purple footprints leads upward beside the text “Shaping gratitude through small steps.” The visual has a white background with orange accents, and the Behavioral Learning logo and contact details appear at the bottom.

🧠 Take a deep breath.
💬 Talk to someone you trust.
💜 And remember: we're here if you need support.
