Recipe for my protein and omega rich overnight oats:
- 2 cups organic rolled oats
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- whatever organic grassfed protein powder you like (I used grassfed beef collagen)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon or more if you like! I use Ceylon Cinnamon - better for liver and flavor
- 1 tsp honey or a 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2.5 cups almond milk or other milk
Stir it up and shake it up and leave in fridge for a few hours or overnight. You can double or triple the recipe. This recipe fits in this ball jar.
This is high in fiber, omegas, protein, vitamins and minerals. Heart and gut healthy.
I microwave mine and add berries for extra antioxidants.
It’s nice to have made a couple jars so you have it ready to go if you’re low on energy, like me, all the time. What do ya think?
