My Place Center for Wellness We are a nonprofit, Peer-Delivered Mental Health Recovery program My Place focuses on mental health recovery, not mental illnesses or mental deficits.

My Place- Center for Wellness is a program that is run by people who are strong in their own mental health recovery. The people who attend My Place are considered “Members” not “patients, clients or consumers”. Our services are FREE for any Oakland County resident with a mental health diagnosis. The guiding mission of My Place- Center for Wellness is to"provide a Supportive Community, and Programs, that Empower Members in their Journey Toward Mental Health Recovery ”. We do this by helping our Members develop a positive sense of self-worth, increase personal responsibility, cultivate constructive friendships- all by giving our Members access to mental health workshops, member-organized activities, one-on-one Peer Support and connection to other community resources.
