The most important relationship in the series: The one with yourself. ✨

To close out our February series on relationship structures, we’re talking about Intentional Singleness. Our culture tends to frame being single as a “waiting period” or something to be “fixed.”

Being single can be a vibrant, intentional, and deeply fulfilling relational structure. It’s a choice to center your own growth and prioritize the diverse network of friends and family that sustain you.

Whether you are happily partnered, dating, or happily single, remember: the health of your connections with others always starts with the health of your connection to yourself.

As Black History Month comes to a close, our President Elana Thomas reflects on leadership and legacy.

“Stepping into my third year at Grace Therapy & Wellness Center feels like a full‑circle moment, one that invites me to reflect on what it truly means to be a Black woman leading a healing space. It means carrying my ancestors with me. It means honoring the brilliance, resilience, and softness of Black womanhood. It means showing up as my whole self in a field that has not always made room for us.

As a Black woman, a Black therapist, and now a Partner and President of this practice, I hold both the weight and the joy of leading with vision, integrity, and abundance. I grew up watching Black women hold the world together without being given the space to rest, to heal, or to build. So standing here today, guiding a practice rooted in equity, liberation, and relational healing, is more than a milestone. It is a reclamation.

Becoming a Partner this year is not just a professional achievement; it is an act of generational intention. It is choosing to build wealth through an abundance lens rather than scarcity. It is affirming that Black women deserve to thrive, to lead, and to share in the success we help create.

I am proud of the work we do. I am proud of the community we serve. And I am proud of the legacy I am building for myself, for my family, and for every Black woman who has ever been told to shrink.

Here’s to year three. Here’s to abundance. Here’s to Black women leading loudly and living fully.”

Winter isn’t for blooming; it’s for rooting. ❄️🌱

If you’re still in a season of questioning, planning, or simply letting things settle, don’t mistake it for being “behind.” In nature, the most vital growth often happens where no one can see it.

If you think therapy could help you in this time of rooting, check out the link in bio to connect with one of our clinicians. 🌷

Expanding the conversation: Consensual Non-Monogamy (CNM). 🕊️

Last week, we talked about how monogamy is a valid and powerful choice when it is intentional. This week, we’re exploring Consensual Non-Monogamy—an umbrella term for relationship structures where all partners agree to have romantic, s*xual, or intimate connections with more than one person.

CNM isn’t about a “lack of commitment.” In fact, for many, it requires a higher level of communication, transparency, and radical honesty to ensure everyone feels seen and secure.

Swipe through to learn more about how these structures work! ➡️

S*x can be a meditation—not because it’s always serene or sacred, but because it asks for presence.
When we stop performing and start feeling, something shifts. The goal is no longer release; it’s reunion—with breath, with sensation, with the truth of what’s alive right now.
To approach s*x as meditation is to remember that awareness, not stillness, is the practice. It’s learning to stay.
Stay with the pleasure... Stay with the awkwardness... Stay with the humor!

Sometimes that life shows up as chaos, sometimes as laughter, sometimes as deep quiet.
All of it can be sacred when met with awareness ❤️
